Just Because
over the weekend I spent some time building a new blog. This one just isn’t working for me anymore or doing everything I need it to do so I’ve moved back to typepad – http://louisewilliams.typepad.com to be precise! If you’re linked to me please update your blog links and any of the follow links as I’d hate to leave you behind
Check out the new look, keep an eye out for lots of new additions and things to come as well… I’ve been busy…

Just Because,
Scrapbooking
made me cry reading it and I had to do SOMETHING to help. Check out the link: http://www.facebook.com/index.php?lh=8a75d74088d88f25bd71405b43ec8e12&#!/pages/SIDS-AND-SUDC-FUNDRAISER-IN-MEMORY-OF-JACOB-KNUTH/126658320699809
I can’t imagine what it would feel like to lose a child and hope to God I never know. So to do my bit I’ve donated a faux suede, one of a kind 6 x 6 scrapbooking album.

It’s a bit special and would really be something amazing to present to someone, filled with your own amazing work, on their special occasion. Head over to the link and check out all the donated items and make sure you go and bid. Funds go to the SIDS and SUDC foundation, they need to raise funds to help support families and for research into why it keeps happening to normal, healthy children who are very much loved and so very missed.

Scrapbooking
So yesterday I got to go to the charity crop in Puke and scrap for a day. A whole day. Kid free. Work free. Bliss. To just sit and scrap and chat and catch up with people I don’t get the chance to see very often was just cool. And I KNOW cool is no longer a cool word but hell, I’m old so whatever.

I had my hair cut off the other day too, bit of a shock as it was almost back down to my waist and I was expecting it to be around my shoulders. My hairdresser got a bit carried away though and it’s a couple of inches short of that, getting used to it though and quite like it now, definitely easier to manage!
And finally a BIG congrats to our two kiwi Prima Flower Girls – Nic and Trina – you guys are amazing scrappers and I’m thrilled for you both (and totally not surprised!). Congrats to all the other Prima girls too, can’t wait to see what they have in store for us this coming year. I’ll give it a go again next year, who knows I may just make it one day as well!
