It’s lurrvvee… Twiddleybitz rocks and if you haven’t yet tried it you just gotta!! They have the most gorgeous, intricate chipboard/mdf/acrylic designs on the market and they’re awesome to work with. I was given this shadow box frame, birdcage and flourishes to work with and chose to create this display for my wall and I gotta say I’m pretty dang happy with how it turned out!! Hope you like it

If you want to create your own then go harass your local scrapbook shop to get some in and don’t forget to visit the website and forum.

Took these piccies yesterday, man I love these kiddos

Lucas slept for 10 1/2 hours the night before last, but is regularly doing 8 hour stints through the night. He’s really been such an easy baby, his body clock is like… well… clockwork! He’s only once gotten us up more than twice in the night and in general I’m always greeted in the morning with big smiles and warm cuddles.
For some reason every time I get a picture of them together Joshua always has his hand on Lucas’s head! weird but cute…
And yep, wonders of wonders I’ve even been scrapping! Keep your eye out for the next Scrapbook Outlet ezine to see what I’ve been up to

With two of these women living in the North Island and the other two in the South Island (Main Land to some!), we hopefully have New Zealand covered in regards to innovative papercrafting features for the next year!

Family Updates
It’s been a while since my last update (new babies will do that to you), however I’ve been sooo busy I’m sure you’ll understand why…
In the last 7 weeks I’ve given birth, turned 38, packed up and moved house and gotten back to work and scrapping. That’s a lot to achieve without the ongoing daily stuff involving Mr 4 and Mr 7 weeks and maintaining some semblance of order in our new house. Anyhooo I’ve been busy taking a lot of piccies to keep up to date with how fast Lucas is growing. I can’t believe it’s already been 7 weeks!
Yesterday I took the boys for their jabs, Joshie was due his 4 year ones at the same time so not only did both of them need doing, they also both needed 2 each. Joy. Joshie was first so he didn’t freak out and I had to hold his arms while he was attacked on each side. Poor little guy was crying that it hurt and he wanted Mummy, one side also swelled up a bit red and sore immediately so it took a while to calm him down. Fortunately a supply of jelly beans, bubbles and ‘brave patient’ stickers helped
Lucas handled it like a trouper, a quick squalk and he went back to sleep within a couple of minutes. He developed a slight temperature last night but slept ok during the night, only getting me up at 3am and just before 6am – not bad considering he went to sleep around 9.30pm.
I’m definitely not finding it as hard this time around, Lucas is a better sleeper than Joshie was (he struggled with wind after every bottle and we’d spend at least an hour trying to settle him back down before his next feed). Me + sleep = everything ok.
Ok, some cute pics just coz I can… he’s such a happy, smiley baby!

I need to figure out my camera settings, everything’s weird…

Anyway Joshie’s enjoying having a brother, and although he’s still attention seeking at the most inopportune moments he’s doing a great job of helping me.
And the biggest help of all is that he’s FINALLY using the toilet for no. 2′s!! OMG I thought it would NEVER happen. Something just clicked at last and he’s taking himself off (not always in time but at least he’s trying!!).
More happy baby shots (sorry if it’s boring but mum reads this).. LOL

The other day I swear he said mummy, both me and Steve heard it while he was flapping about wanting me to come and feed him. We looked at each other and thought “nah”… but we both heard it! It’s obviously a fluke sound that just sounded like mummy but sheeze… and here he is scragging his sucky Tigger… he managed to negotiate it into his mouth by himself. He’s not yet making his own breakfast but hey…

He’s doing well on the sleeping front, the other night he slept 7 hours straight so we’re on the way to a good nights sleep. He’s growing so fast too, he’s almost 6.5kg already and has the biggest feet!

‘Tis the season for everything… starting with Halloween. We took Joshie and Lucas (oblivious) up to the Trunk or Treat at the local mall. A church organises it every year and they decorate up the boots of their cars and hand out lollies in a family environment, protected from the weather and have bouncy castles and food etc… I didn’t go last year as I was away at the Retreat and we had a great time. Joshie dressed up in his Bumble Bee transformer outfit and collected lollies and generally loved it.

Next up was Guy Fawkes night. I love it. Every year we do the fireworks thing and although every year we end up with a dud box of Golden Rain and inevitably end up running from at least one stray one, it’s a tradition. Lucas slept through the whole thing in mum’s arms, while Joshie went to bed at 10pm for 3 nights straight because he couldn’t sleep with excitement at all the fireworks going off around us.

Just after that it was my birthday and I turned 38. I thought getting this close to 40 would bother me (and in some ways I guess it does that I look/feel my age!) but generally I’m pretty happy with where I’m at. Yes I wish we had more money and yes I wish I looked like a 40 year old supermodel, but I have 2 gorgeous boys, a loving partner, a nice place to live, a hobby I love, good friends, close family and food on the table. I also got spoilt with some lovely pressies and a yummy lunch up the Skytower… I got some scrappy vouchers, a cuttlebug alphabet I wanted, this book (which I’m itching to start – LOVE Diana Gabaldon):

And this wee beauty:

Ok so it’s going back to the store (they sold mum a returned ipod with songs already downloaded onto it!) but they’re upgrading me for free to the latest and greatest so once that comes in we’ll do a swap and I can listen to it while I scrap! I got lots of other goodies too, scrapping stuff and Deb made me a lovely address book as well – thanks hunee!!
Other than all that me and Joshie ended my birthday playing pirates, don’t look too closely at the bad skin/hair and wrinkles…

I have a tonne of scrapping to do but finally finished unpacking my scrapping room last night, (still got boxes of other stuff to unpack but you gotta have priorities!)… will be into it today and should be able to share stuff with you soon once everything’s been posted on the various blogs etc.

I’ll leave you with yet another photo, Joshie being just like dad on his wee laptop while Steve monopolises my one.. LOL
